Health Care Reform has fueled the funding of telemental health interventions in many spheres: ACOs, FQHC's, patient-centered homes, remote clinics and agencies throughout the behavioral world.

The TeleMental Health Institute (TMHI) is a training and consultation organization dedicated to advancing the behavioral sciences through evidence-based use of technology. TMHI supports the development of innovative, technology-enabled self-help tools for client/patient contact as well as professional training for telepsychiatry, telepsychology, distance counseling, online therapy and behavioral telehealth.

Practitioners received continuing education units while training in best practices at an online training institute devoted exclusively to legal, ethical and other risk management issues. Groups and companies have access to some of the field's leaders through consultation for start-up program design, implementation and assessment.

The TeleMental Health Institute is supporting the Connected Health Summit, September 4-5, in San Diego.
