TiVo's Future: A pay-TV /UI provider? Canal Digital is the latest customer

TiVo is already supplying "OTT" hardware to Cox Communications and Virgin Media. Now, Nordic DTH operator Canal Digital will license TiVo’s middleware and user interface to serve as Canal Digital's next generation platform, seamlessly integrating linear satellite and terrestrial TV channels, Canal Digital's video-on-demand service, and a variety of current and future “OTT” services.
