Mike Buckingham is the Director of August Pro, a division of August Home Inc dedicated to serving integrators and security dealers in the custom home installation channel. Mike brings more than 15 years experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) industry selling hardware and software solutions, including home automation and control systems.

Prior to August Home, Mike was National Account Manager at Smartlabs, Inc. where he brought the INSTEON home control networking technology to market. He also served as Director of IoT Sales for Candi Controls, a cloud platform provider. Mike holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.


Paul Campbell Paul Campbell, VP & Head, Silicon Valley Innovation Center, Schneider Electric

A serial intrapreneur, Paul Campbell is currently VP of Innovation and Head of Silicon Valley Innovation Center at Schneider Electric, where he is responsible for creating new products, services and businesses for this $30B Paris-based energy tech company.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Paul successfully built new businesses that generated billions in revenue for companies like Hewlett-Packard, Philips Electronics, and technology startups in Silicon Valley. Paul’s businesses have developed a stunning portfolio of award-winning products that enabled corporations to enter new markets, generate large new revenue streams and raise their images as innovation and design leaders.

Paul is an advisor to the World Economic Forum, the European Commission and numerous accelerators/incubators around the globe. He lectures at UC-Berkeley, and other bay area universities on the leadership and organizational approaches uniquely necessary for large companies to inject both sustaining and disruptive innovations into their products and services.  


Naveen Chhangani Naveen Chhangani, Vice President, Product and Services, Arlo Technologies

As VP of Product and Services at Arlo Technologies, Naveen leads product and services teams responsible for the delivery of Arlo products. With over 20 years of experience in product management, strategy, and business development, Naveen has launched innovative and award- winning products into the smart home, consumer SaaS, access technology, and internet service providers market. Before Arlo, he has been at various leadership roles at NETGEAR, Seagate, and technology startups. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Amravati University, India, and Business Management courses from Harvard Business School.

Scott Harkins brings more than 30 years of experience in residential markets to Resideo as its vice president of Sales and Channel Marketing for Resideo’s Products & Solutions business.
 
Harkins has held multiple positions within Resideo and Honeywell, including leading sales and connected home. Previously, he was vice president/general manager of Connected Home at Resideo, and held several sales and leadership positions at Honeywell. He was instrumental in the business’s transformation to connected, software-driven solutions. Harkins also was responsible for managing relationships with technology companies as well as the developer and startup communities.
 
With an extensive background in the security industry, Harkins is one of the most connected and experienced professionals in IoT and understands what consumers want from the constantly changing home technology market. In 2017, Inc. Magazine ranked Harkins as one of the most influential leaders in the IoT space. Forbes.com has ranked him the 12th most influential person in the IoT market.


Scott Hublou Scott Hublou, VP of Global Connected Solutions, Salus

Scott Hublou is currently the VP of Global Connected Services for Salus, an international brand in the home control market. Deployed in 14 countries worldwide, the Salus Connected Home solution is one of the largest international players in the Connected/Smart home industry. Scott is a leading voice in the clean tech and energy industries, through his consumer advocacy in the residential energy efficiency space. He is a frequent speaker on emerging smart grid technologies and the important role that smart homes play in creating a truly efficient energy system. Prior to Salus, Scott was the Founder of EcoFactor, North America’s leading Electric Utility solution Demand Side energy management CEO of Sapria Technology Group, a product strategy-consulting firm with clients including BlueShield, Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, and HP. Before heading Sapria, Scott was the CEO of Asimba, a SaaS based business intelligence and CRM solution for the online and brick-n-mortar fitness and nutrition industry. Scott has been a regular guest lecturer at both Stanford and the University of California at Berkeley business schools, sharing his knowledge and expertise on innovative business strategy, business intelligence and SaaS platforms.

Tom leads Parks Associates research in the areas of home controls, energy management, and home networks. Tom authors numerous reports on energy management and home controls covering the evolution of technology, partnership opportunities, and new business models. Tom’s work at Parks Associates includes managing consumer surveys that track trends and market opportunities and enable insightful evidence-based forecasting for energy, security, and home controls. Tom has also led projects for many Fortune 500 companies, helping clients refine smart home strategies, develop scenarios of the future of the smart home market, enhance product roadmaps, and refine specific product features.

Prior to working at Parks Associates, Tom worked as director of engineering and director of product management in multiple industries. Tom began his career in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program on submarines. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in systems engineering and a master's in software engineering from the University of Texas.

Neil Raggio Neil Raggio, Senior Director of the Home Control Product and Business Group, Logitech

Neil Raggio is the Senior Director of the Home Control Group at Logitech. In his role at Logitech, Neil leads up product development and the overall business of the Logitech smart home product line including the Logitech POP Home Switch. Previously, Neil was a marketing director at Dell where he led product strategy and planning for all Dell Chrome products. Prior to his role at Dell, Neil was a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group where he specialized in technology, media and telecommunications and other consumer practice areas. Neil earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and his bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Mississippi.

Erik is a seasoned product management and business development executive with over 15 years of experience in the media and technology industry. He is the VP, Head of Global Business Development for MediaKind. In this role, he oversees the product and business strategy of Ericsson’s new cloud TV technology product, working with Tier-1 global operators as they deploy their next-generation cloud-based TV services. He has spoken at shows including TV of Tomorrow and Digital Entertainment World. 
 
Erik joined Ericsson as part of the Mediaroom acquisition from Microsoft. During his 10-year tenure at Microsoft, Erik led various initiatives involving new business opportunities, product management, and product planning of the TV and Media (TVM) organization, including Xbox and Windows Media Center. At Microsoft, Erik managed key operator and consumer electronic partnerships, including Sony, Best Buy, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic.
 
Prior to Microsoft, Erik presided as General Manager and Vice President of MovieBeam, a video-on-demand service started with major investment from the Disney Corporation, specifically its subsidiary Buena Vista Datacasting. Erik’s entertainment and wireless communications industry experience also includes working at Dotcast and Cellnet Data Systems. 
 
Erik received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
