And Now for the Rest of the Siri Story

Parks Associates' consumer study of Siri users revealed several interesting pieces of data. Here are some additional points we found intriguing:

1.  Of iPhone 4s users, 62% use Siri for some function at least several times a week, including 35% of respondents who report daily use.  The least used functions are playing a video, scheduling a meeting, or playing music.

2.  The number of respondents who stated high satisfaction with Siri, defined as a "6" or "7" on a 7 point scale, is 55%. When we add those that answered "5" for "satisfied," the total increases to 76%... a significant number for a new feature.  Of the unenthusiastic 24%, only 9% were unsatisfied.

Survey respondents indicate some limitations encountered when using Siri, but clearly a majority of users are regularly using the feature with medium to high degrees of satisfaction.  The data suggests that voice command features are here to stay. The survey, to be available in its entirety in the next several days, includes details about why people are highly satisfied or dissatisfied.
