CONNECTIONS™ Summit at CES explores smart home crossover opportunities at CES® 2018

Parks Associates today announced new research showing 42% of U.S. broadband households find at least one tested smart home use case for entertainment very appealing. The ability to control TVs, set-top boxes, streaming media players, and smart home devices with the same remote is the most popular use case; 47% find it appealing, including 30% who rank it as very appealing.

Research firm Parks Associates will examine consumer interest in smart home crossover opportunities for energy, health, insurance, entertainment, and other IoT industries at the CONNECTIONS™ Summit: IoT and the Smart Home on January 9 at CES® 2018 in Las Vegas. The event features sessions focused on the changing technology landscape for consumers and the challenges for innovative technologies in transitioning from early adopters to the early majority.
