Cisco Systems VP to Deliver Keynote “How Can the Internet of Everything Enable Connected Life” at CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference

Parks Associates and industry leaders to discuss the Internet of Things and the smart home in San Francisco, California, May 13-15

Parks Associates announced today that Joe Chow, VP/GM - Connected Devices, Cisco Systems, Inc., will deliver the keynote "How Can the Internet of Everything Enable Connected Life" at CONNECTIONS™ on May 14, 11:45 a.m. The three-day executive conference focuses on innovative technology and business solutions for the connected consumer.

"Home networks and broadband ubiquity form the foundation of the Internet of Everything (IoE) paradigm that Mr. Chow will discuss," said Stuart Sikes, president, Parks Associates. "Parks Associates' 1Q 2014 research shows the average U.S. broadband household now has 7.4 connected CE devices, and 83% of U.S. broadband households have a home network router. Cisco is a leader in the industry, and Mr. Chow’s keynote will share valuable insights on creating the 'connected life' ecosystems with the right combination of software, devices, and cloud technologies."

The international research firm will host the 18th annual CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference on May 13-15 at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront. Mr. Chow’s keynote will address the value and importance of data, the role of partnerships, and the new business models available to generate revenue for companies operating in the connected home. Attendees of the conference include high-level executives from start-ups, Fortune 500, venture capitalists, public relations, and media companies.
