Half of Video Consumed on a TV Comes from Non-Linear Source
New Parks Associates consumer research shows that nearly half (47%) of video consumed on a TV set in the U.S. now comes from non-linear sources. Parks Associates analysts will explore the implications of this shifting video usage at the 2014 Disruptive Media Conference, part of the NAB Show taking place April 5-10 in Las Vegas.
Parks Associates, alongside GSMA, Digital Media Wire, and the NAB Show, is a key partner for the Disruptive Media Conference, which is a two-day event featuring topics like gaming, content curation, video advertising, and TVE and OnDemand, among others.
Analyst Brett Sappington will moderate two panels on April 9: "Disruption and Opportunity in the Connected Home" and "Upended: Disruption and the New Connected Ecosystem." Speakers for these sessions include representatives from TiVO, Roku, AT&T, Hearst Television, DirecTV, and Verizon.
