How will artificial intelligence (AI) impact the smart home, IoT, and connected entertainment landscapes in 2018 and beyond?

The primary use case of AI-driven applications in the consumer IoT space will be focused on delivering highly personalized customer experiences. We envision that some aspects of application-level updates to connected devices will become increasingly tailored based on usage profile and product feedback data. IoT manufacturers are using AI-based insights to improve product quality, enable proactive diagnostics and deliver better customer service.
