Parks Associates is supporting the 10th annual TelcoTV 2011 this week (Oct 25-27) in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Brett Sappington, Director of Research, Parks Associates is speaking on the session "Going Hybrid: Merging OTT with TV Everywhere and Licensed Content" on October 25 from 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM. While consumers want a wide choice of content, the key challenge for service providers is to deliver a unified content user experience across all devices. This session will explore the real-world experience of telcos in curating OTT video for the operator's benefit, monetizing bits already being carried for free, creating companion services with regional value and appeal, making the user experience look and feel like TV and not a portal, and leveraging social media to grow consumer interest.
