CONNECTIONS™ Summit at CES addresses Operator Strategies, Connected CE, Smart Grid, Video Everywhere

Parks Associates seeking participants for executive summit

International research firm Parks Associates today announced the Call For Papers for its upcoming CONNECTIONS™ Summit at CES, taking place January 6 at 2011 International CES in Las Vegas. This event provides consumer data and analysis of business and marketing strategies for operators, CE manufacturers, utilities, and communications companies delivering connected devices and advanced services and applications to consumers.

Parks Associates will host CONNECTIONS™ Summit in the South Hall Convention Center during the first day of CES. Parks Associates analysts will moderate interactive panel sessions featuring leading industry executives on the following topics:

Parks Associates forecasts the number of CE capable of displaying and playing back IP content, including televisions, game consoles, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, tablet computers, smartphones, and portable multimedia players, will grow from approximately 350 million units worldwide in 2010 to nearly 800 million units by 2014.
