Salutem: Companies need to focus on their own strengths and weaknesses

What challenges does Europe face with rolling out new smart home & connected entertainment services?

Alignment between technologies and strong collaborations are certainly a challenge.

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing your company in the next 12 months?

  • Uncertainty around market acceptance
  • Consumer may feel overwhelmed and confused by too many new products and innovation coming out at the same time. I believe that this can have a detrimental effect on the market overall.
  • The lack of penetration and slow consumer uptake.

How will companies leverage the growth in the market in the next 12 months? What is the impact of the Internet Giants (Google, Amazon) getting involved in the market?

Companies need to focus on their own strengths and leverage as lean as they possibly can, even the biggest influencers are starting to realise that they cannot do everything well. Therefore a need to move forward with other is certainly a leverage strategy that everyone is considering in order to move faster and let the innovations immerse quicker.
