12% of U.S. broadband households bought a new energy-efficient appliance or HVAC system in 2017

New keynote speakers from Nest, EnergyHub, and Tendril join Direct Energy at the tenth-annual Smart Energy Summit

Research from Parks Associates shows 12% of U.S. broadband households bought a new energy-efficient appliance or HVAC system in 2017. By comparison, 56% of U.S. broadband households believe that it is very important to have an energy-efficient home, indicating the energy section has many untapped opportunities to promote and sell smart energy solutions to consumers. The firm will examine strategies to monetize these opportunities at Smart Energy Summit: Engaging the Consumer, February 18-20, 2019, in Austin, Texas. Parks Associates today announced three new keynote speakers from EnergyHub, Nest, and Tendril to complement the previously announced keynote speaker from Direct Energy.
