SPEER Summit returning to Austin, February 7-8

The annual SPEER Summit, a premier energy efficiency conclave for Texas and Oklahoma, will return to Austin on February 7-8 for two full days of industry strategy sessions, plus keynotes, plenary panels, and networking.

The 2017 Summit, which will be held at the Westin in Downtown Austin, will cover topics including lighting innovation, industrial efficiency trends, commercial buildings automation, connected homes, and utility regulation and incentives.

Keynote Speakers

  • Dr. Scott W. Tinker, Director, Bureau of Economic Geology, UT Austin
  • Karl Rábago, Executive Director, Pace Energy and Climate Center

Tinker will present on The Critical Role of Efficiency in the Global Energy Future, while Rábago will address Stuff That Works – Energy Efficiency in an Era of Utility Transformation.
