A variety of Internet-connected devices are coming to market with the promise of helping consumers manage their energy consumption. These devices enable basic control and monitoring but can offer more advanced features and capabilities as well. Manufacturers, utilities, and service providers have the challenge of deciding which advanced features will drive differentiation and revenues.
