A couple of weeks ago, I commented on the number of wireless PC-to-TV products that are popping up, taking advantage of a market trend where ten million U.S. households will be using some kind of computer-to-television hookup by the end of this year to watch online video. Now, you can add Veebeam, which has two PC-to-TV video streamer products. Two models will be available--the $99 Veebeam SD and the $139 Veebeam HD (which adds an HDMI output).

The popular online video site, Hulu has been gaining popularity and increasing its visitors since its launch date in 2007, but the popularity may be dropping off. If you want the extended version of the saga regarding trying to play Internet radio through my AV system and through the in-ceiling speakers. Otherwise, the short story is that I hadn't found a way to stream my favorite Internet radio station through the AV receiver to enjoy a whole-house experience. I'd tried different media adapters, the ZVBox, and even a direct laptop-to-receiver connection, but nothing worked. The direct connection came closest, but with a really annoying buzzing...

How'd that Hulu ad from the 2009 Super Bowl work out? Pretty darn well, it turns out. At the end of 2009, Hulu offficials noted that the number of monthly users was 43 million, double the number from year-end 2008. They also indicated that the 924 million viewed clips over the last 30-day period was three times the amount from a year ago.
