Christopher Berke is a seasoned executive with a passion for digital healthcare. He joined Eaton in 2021 to lead the company's Digital Healthcare organization. In this role, Christopher has been instrumental in developing Eaton's energy-based Activities of Daily Living insights offering, which leverages inferential sensing capabilities to provide valuable insights into households' behaviors such as movement, nourishment, and hygiene, based on energy and water data. Aaron has nearly twenty years of experience in strategy and business development related to medical technologies and is a champion for the value of medical device connectivity. He led business development for CardioNet (Philips/ BioTelemetry) the pioneering provider of mobile cardiovascular telemetry. At Guidant Corporation (Boston Scientific) he focused on investments and strategic alliances. Dr. Shea Gregg is a husband, father, entrepreneur and practicing acute care/trauma surgeon with board-certifications in general surgery and surgical critical care. His educational background includes a BS in Neuroscience from Brandeis University, an MD from the Dartmouth/Brown Medical School Program, General Surgery Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and surgical critical care fellowship training at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Maryland. After serving as a trauma medical director at Yale New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital for 9 years, he is currently practicing as a trauma surgeon within a large CT medical system with plans to transition to the Chair of the Department of Surgery at the 2nd largest system hospital in May 2023.

Michael Don Ham is the Co-Founder and President of RePure, a leading supplier of best-in-class wellness technology solutions for residential applications available through professional installers. Ham has a degree majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition and has spent the past two decades in the field of health and wellness, serving in leadership roles within the non-profit, organic farming, custom integration and consumer packaged goods sectors. Michael is part of the International WELL Building Institute as an Accredited Professional and Faculty member as well as with Fitwel as an Ambassador to increase awareness of how the spaces where we live, work, study and play can impact our health and to share his passion for continuous improvement through people and planet-centric design and technology. Sweta heads the Product Management team for Controls and Indoor Air Quality at Lennox International for the Residential segment. In her current role she is responsible for ideating, developing and commercialization of new products and managing the multi-year product and technology roadmaps. Her team develops both hardware and software solutions for the Lennox iComfort thermostats and Healthy Climate Indoor Air Quality products and is intensely focused on driving dealer and consumer engagement in the fastest growing categories in Lennox. Prior to this, Sweta was the Director of Product Management for the Heating Category and managed a portfolio of mechanical products that was over $500M in revenue for the company. Erik Kling has more than 25 years of experience in the communication technology field covering hardware, software, services and solution elements of the industry. Erik has held senior sales and product management roles at Siemens Communications and wireless startup companies along with over 15 years specifically in the IoT space.

Erik joined Vodafone in September 2010 and is currently leading the Vodafone IoT business in the Americas as President & Head of IOT Americas. He most recently held the position as Vice President IoT New Business Development, developing the Enterprise market, channels to market with its various segments and industries globally.

His responsibilities include leading the Americas IOT business, assure revenue delivery & growth including winning and developing key customers through multiple sales channels. Erik represents Vodafone’s IOT business and has full responsibility for Americas regional P&L delivery.

Nick Knowlton is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for ResMed, where he leads initiatives and strategy for healthcare interoperability and partnerships for ResMed companies Brightree and MatrixCare, which together cover the entire post-acute care continuum. Nick is also Chair of the board of directors for CommonWell Health Alliance and has been involved since helping form the Alliance in 2013. Nick is on the advisory board for the Home Care Technology Association of America and several other post-acute and interoperability advisory groups. He has championed dozens of health information exchange projects across acute, ambulatory and post-acute settings, has helped encourage an industry culture that emphasizes patient-centric interoperability and regularly provides feedback to the relevant federal agencies on policy issues that affect providers and patients across the care continuum. Nick has a Bachelor of Science with a Biochemistry major from the University of Notre Dame, and lives in Denver, CO with his wife and three children.

Justin McKinney is an experienced business leader, entrepreneur, and innovator. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Ivani, the technology company leading the Sensing as a Service model in IoT. As co-inventor of dozens of patents, Justin has successfully driven the innovation process at multiple companies through a focus on end-user wants and needs while balancing the trade-offs inherent to business operations. Ed Miller is an accomplished technology leader with over 20 years of experience driving innovation at scale in complex healthcare and cable/telecom environments. As Chief Technology Officer at the Center for Medical Interoperability, Ed spearheads R&D initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery by facilitating the seamless and secure exchange of information across medical devices and systems. To support C4MI's goal of enabling interoperability at scale for the rapidly growing healthcare-at-home market, he also serves as the Technical Sub Group Chair for the newly formed Health & Wellness Working Group at the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). Before joining C4MI, Ed held key leadership roles at Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. Lainie Muller is a 15-year veteran of the technology industry and an emerging voice on Smart Solutions for Aging in Place and Connected Caregiving.

Lainie is Director of Wellness at Alarm.com, a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: ALRM)and the nation’s leading cloud-based platform for the smart home. The Wellness solution leverages Smart Home technology to support Aging in Place and independent living for older adults and those living with disabilities. Wellness, an integrated element of Alarm.com’s comprehensive ecosystem of home management technology, is currently in use in residential homes, senior living communities, schools and in remote caregiving programs funded by Medicare and Medicaid.  The product has received critical acclaim from The New York Times, Kiplingers, CNN, NPR and TechCrunch.

In 2010, Lainie joined BeClose, a privately funded start-up company, as the Director of Partnership Sales. In 2015, BeClose was “spun-in” to Alarm.com, an early-stage strategic investor of the company. The BeClose product is now available as Alarm.com Wellness.

Prior to BeClose, Lainie served as National Sales Manager, Major Accounts Unit (MAU) at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, the online subsidiary of The Washington Post company, where she led a top revenue producing team driving Healthcare, Consumer Electronics and Retail sales.

Lainie has been an active Board Member for the National Capitol Area Chapter, Alzheimer’s Association since 2012. She holds a BS in Business and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Lainie lives in Chevy Chase, MD with her husband and two teenage boys.

Dr. Meera Ravindranathan is the lead Medical Director with Iris by OncoHealth. Dr. Ravindranathan has more than 15 years of experience treating a wide range of cancers. Dr. Ravindranathan is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She then did her residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowship training in medical oncology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She worked in academia in the early part of her career where she was involved in research and teaching at the University of New Mexico Cancer Treatment Center, including being selected to complete the American Association for Cancer Research's Methods in Clinical Cancer Research Workshop. She has authored numerous articles that have been published in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Ravindranathan then was in private practice in San Diego, California where she still participated in clinical trials but focused mainly on treating adult cancer patients. She currently maintains a part-time clinical practice in California. Her passion is delivering excellent care and quality improvement in medicine and values the opportunity digital care platforms can bring to the industry. 

Adam Russek-Sobol is driven by making people's lives easier, healthier, and more sustainable through emerging technologies and machine learning. He is currently the Founder and CEO of CareBand, location-based health and safety wearable solution for people living with dementia. Trained in informatics and cybersecurity, Adam has a background in consulting, leadership, and project management. Before CareBand, he had founded three SaaS startups focused in education, sports, and healthcare. Adam is an award-winning entrepreneur and speaker. In 2018, Adam was asked to speak at the Bluetooth World Seminar in San Jose, California. He also spoke at TEDxDayton on using technology to empower people living with dementia. Adam has been recognized numerous times for his innovation in healthcare. In 2017, he was named to AARP's 50+ Innovation Leaders for healthcare. Adam also serves on various boards and committees, including the LoRa Alliance Smart Home/Neighborhood Committee, American Medical Directors Association's Innovation Advisory Council, and the Dementia Action Alliance's Corporate Leadership Board. Owen Troy is a Segment Marketing Manager in the Industrial & Commercial Business Unit at Silicon Labs. He is primarily focused on two segments: the Enterprise Access Point and Clinical Medical verticals. Owen has been involved in the IoT since joining Ember Corporation, a leading provider of Zigbee Technology, in 2004. Ember was acquired by Silicon Labs in 2012 as the first in a series of strategic acquisitions into the IoT space. Owen is passionate about lowering barriers to IoT ubiquity in existing Infrastructure which will provide the wireless connectivity backbone for the applications that will transform industries, grow economies, and improve lives. In his previous role, Owen led a technical team that supported the definition, development, and launch of many of the IoT platforms on the market today.    

Gene Wang, Chairman, Chief Scientist and Co-founder of Care Daily. Gene is a serial entrepreneur and 4-time CEO who led Computer Motion, a leader in surgical robotics, through a successful IPO. He next founded Photo Access, a digital imaging startup who's technology powered 100 million digital camera phones after their purchase by Agilent. Gene founded Bitfone, a mobile device management company which enabled over-the-air firmware updates in 300 million mobile phones and was acquired by Hewlett-Packard. Today, Gene is leading the research and development of next-generation senior care services as Principal Investigator for six caregiver studies with generous funding from the NIH. Gene received his BA in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. He leads the Daily Beats Band and plays saxophone and flute. Gene is happily married with three wonderful children and two bad dogs. 

For almost 20 years, Brad has been creating, developing and leading organizations in the medical device and remote monitoring industries. Brad is currently the Director of the Medical Business Unit for A&D Company in the Americas. His vast experience from large organization like GE Healthcare and Honeywell to startups like EarlySense give him a broad perspective of connected health markets. A&D is a worldwide leader in connected health and biometric measurement devices and services for consumer wellness and chronic condition management. A&D is dedicated to developing and manufacturing accurate biometric measurements by clinically validating our device to the highest standards.

Brock is President of the Freeus, Becklar Workforce Safety and Becklar Connected Wellness businesses. He joined Becklar in 2015 to lead the newly acquired Freeus business. Since that time, Brock has had the privilege of assembling and leading a world class team that is responsible for the accelerated growth and award winning platform and services of his companies. Brock is known for his ability to drive accelerated growth through caring relationships with internal stakeholders and industry partners.

Dr. Brad Younggren is the Chief Medical Officer and President of Care Innovation at 98point6 Technologies. With more than 20 years' experience working as a physician, Dr. Younggren previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Cue Health. In addition to his role at 98point6 Technologies, Dr. Younggren is also an Emergency Medicine physician at EvergreenHealth, serving as its medical director of emergency preparedness and trauma. He received his BA from UCLA and his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He has earned both a Bronze Star and the Combat Medic Badge for his service in Iraq as a United States Army physician.

Kristen Hanich heads Parks Associates' consumer electronics and mobility research, with expertise in other verticals including connected cars, mobile networking, healthcare, wellness, and independent living. She leads a mix of custom and syndicated research projects throughout the year, with a focus on major players and emerging trends. Kristen specializes in bridging the gap between data-driven and narrative approaches to understanding the consumer markets via a mix of qualitative and quantitative research approaches.

Kristen has dual master's degrees in applied anthropology and public health from the Universities of North Texas in Denton and Fort Worth. She earned her BSc in health at the University of Texas at San Antonio and has a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems.

Jennifer manages the research department and Parks Associates' process for producing high-quality, relevant, and meaningful research. Jennifer also leads and advises on syndicated and custom research projects across all connected consumer verticals and guides questionnaire development for Parks Associates’ extensive consumer analytics survey program. Jennifer is a certified focus group moderator, with training from the Burke Institute.

Jennifer earned her PhD in religion, politics, and society and an MA in church-state studies from Baylor University. She earned her BA in politics from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

Elizabeth leads the marketing team and supports the research and operations teams. Elizabeth manages and directs the integrated strategic communications plan for Parks Associates, including advertising, public relations, and marketing campaigns for research and events hosted by Parks Associates. Elizabeth is the key organizer for all of Parks Associates' events, including CONNECTIONS™. She also supports Parks Associates' Business Development Team with prospective client searches, overall support, and maintenance of Parks Associates' databases.

Elizabeth joined Parks Associates on a full-time basis in 1998 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in psychology.
