Tom Bumpass Tom Bumpass, Executive Director, Technology and Business Systems, Greystar

Tom Bumpass is an Executive Director and leads the company's Technology and Business Systems group for the Property Management business. His team provides core technology support services for Property Systems, Student Systems, Advantage Solutions, and Innovation Implementations.

Tom, who formerly served as the company's Chief Information Officer, joined Greystar in 2008 through the acquisition of JPI's Management Group. Prior to Greystar, he served at JPI for 20 years in various technology and management leadership roles.

During his tenure in the multifamily industry, Tom has been significantly involved in working with providers, peers, and trade organizations to evaluate and implement emerging technologies. He has a strong track history of advancing business process improvements through the use of technology, both in front-office business operations and back-office accounting and administrative services.

Tom holds a bachelor's degree in Business Analysis from Texas A&M University.


John Butrim John Butrim, Vice President - Multifamily, HOA & Builder, ADT Multifamily

John Butrim serves as ADT’s Vice President of Multifamily, Builder and HOA and has more than 15 years of smart home and security experience. In this role, John is responsible for driving the vision, growth, and go-to-market of these three verticals.

Over the past 4 years, John has led the transformation of ADT Multifamily from enterprise security solutions to being a fully integrated smart home platform, capped off with the 2022 acquisition of IOTAS. The combination of IOTAS, and other ADT offerings like Solar, Commercial and Safe by ADT provides a safe, smart, and sustainable solution for Multifamily owners and operators. John received his B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Loyola University of Baltimore and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.


Robert Grosz Robert Grosz, President, World Cinema

Robert is a leader in the institutional real estate and technology industries with a 25-year track record. He is committed to helping institutional real estate owners and managers create value from investments in technology by enhancing the customer experience and forming long-lasting partnerships with best of breed technology solutions. Robert started at Equity Residential in Chicago, IL and led their Strategic Business Development unit where he was responsible for assuring that technology providers helped create the best possible living experience while yielding non-rent sources of income. While at Equity, he gained an understanding of how technology improves the marketability of a real estate and developed a reputation for having a long-term vision and thinking outside the box to create win-win partnerships with technology companies. He leveraged this experience and reputation to hold senior executive leadership positions at three different public companies and two successful technology start-ups. With laser focus on the client, he is currently the President of World Cinema and SPARRO. Robert currently oversees WCI's overall vision to promote sustainable technology, 5G, global enterprise networks and entertainment to communities. Previous to WCI, he has worked at Boingo Wireless and DISH Network. His consistent focus on leveraging technology and information to benefit commercial enterprise and institutional real estate clients has afforded him industry-wide accolades. 


Guillermo Rivas Guillermo Rivas, Vice President, New Business Development, Cox Communications

As the Vice President of New Business Development for Cox Communications, Guillermo Rivas manages the teams responsible for building strategic relationships with developers, builders and owners of apartments, condominiums or single-family projects. In this role, he helps develop programs for the builder community to maximize the return of their investment through Cox’s advanced fiber to the home network, Pre-enabled Wi-Fi feature Quick Connect, Managed Wi-Fi and IoT network solutions that improve the Resident experience.

Prior to joining Cox, Guillermo has held various leadership positions with Time Warner Cable and Comcast Communications. Guillermo has over 25 years of Marketing, Operations, New Product Development and Sales experience in the Telecommunications industry.

Mike Branam Mike Branam, Head of Multifamily, PointCentral

With nearly 20 years of experience in real estate technology, Mike has been a part of several successful prop-tech start ups serving the multifamily industry. Mike worked with several former Google Executives to help launch Rentbits which landed on the Inc 500 list of America's Fastest Growing private companies in 2008, and helped launch the industry's first smart apartment, IoT platform, Remotely, which earned "Product of the Year" at the 2015 AIM Multifamily Conference. Mike has spent the last 5 years as the Head of Multifamily at PointCentral which offers a smart property technology platform to apartment owners & operators. PointCentral's technology, combined with its parent company Alarm.com, is installed in over 9 million homes across the U.S.


Scott Buehrle Scott Buehrle, VP of Multifamily Sales & Strategy, Frontier

Scott Buehrle guides the overall multifamily strategy and sales efforts at Frontier. He leverages nearly 20 years of experience serving the multifamily industry in order to effectively partner with multifamily owners, developers, and property managers to create exceptional telecommunications solutions for communities across Frontier's national fiber-optic footprint. Prior to joining Frontier, Scott served as Vice President of MDU Sales at Single Digits where he oversaw the company's managed Wi-Fi services delivery to luxury apartments and student housing clients in all 50 states. Scott was instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of innovative mobile apps and pacesetting IoT products and services platforms implemented by the company. Additionally, Scott began his multifamily career serving in various property management roles for one of the largest student housing management companies in the industry, and leverages this knowledge in all aspects of technology services and solutions development to drive enhanced value for his clients. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Penn State University. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, has coached baseball and lacrosse, enjoys travel, and is an avid Nittany Lions fan.

Duncan brings 12 years of AEC experience in healthcare, institutional, corporate, and multi-family residential working with owners, engineers, and contractors to foster innovative ideas from schematics to realization. He also brings 7 years of IT network consulting including hardware, software and network infrastructure installation, and service. At his 5 years with Cortland he focuses on building technology, innovation, low voltage design, and community connectivity. Duncan has a foundation of creative problem solving, communication, and attention to detail. He holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia.

Jim Conti Jim Conti, VP of Sales and Marketing, Nimbio

Jim is seasoned sales, marketing and business development professional, with over 25 years of specializing in bringing new, innovative or disruptive products and technologies to all channels of distribution, including Wireless, Direct, B2B, Multi Family, Retail, E-Tail, Enterprise, and Distribution worldwide. Jim has extensive start up experience, having been involved in 9 startups to date, as well as Corporate and Enterprise experience. Jim has been both a quota bearing C Level or VP of Sales and Marketing professional and has also managed sales and operations teams. Jim has inherited sales and marketing professionals, as well as built teams from the ground up, implementing all sales tools, quotas, activity, GTM plans, compensation and tracking tools, like CRM, and achieving over a 90% participation rate, with minimal turn over. Sharon Douglass Sharon Douglass, VP of National Accounts, Cox Communities

Sharon Douglass, Vice President of National Accounts for Cox Communities, is an accomplished leader with 20+ years of experience leading sales teams and negotiating complex contracts in the government and multifamily space.

She joined Cox in 2015 and has held corporate strategy roles with the Direct Sales, Cox Owned, and Third-Party Retail Channels. Sharon has driven numerous programs to increase profitability as well as tools to support field teams. In her current role, she leveraged her insights and experience to develop the Cox Communities National Accounts Program. This team is responsible for $350M in annual revenue for Cox Communications and leading acquisition of customers for Cox Communities latest product offering, Cox MyAPT, which is property management automation.

Sharon has also spent a substantial portion of her career at Comcast leading large sales teams to overachieve their goals. She has a passion for developing people, being a collaborative partner, and driving exceptional execution. Sharon holds a master’s degree in public administration from Northern Illinois University.


Mark Eckroth Mark Eckroth, Head of Multifamily, Deako

Mark Eckroth is the Head of Multifamily at Deako and has spent the majority of his professional career selling into the multifamily and hospitality space. Mark has a passion for lighting and has successfully written multiple brand standard specifications for major hotel companies and large multifamily developers. While at Deako, Mark has led the multifamily team to its current state and has hired the best lighting sales agents in North America. Mark currently lives in Phoenix with his wife and two-year-old son, enjoys reading, and his time in the gym.


Kyle Finney Kyle Finney, Business Development Manager, Arize

Kyle Finney is a Business Development Manager at Arize with a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to transform the multifamily industry. With extensive experience in commercial real estate in both the Phoenix and Las Vegas markets, Kyle is a renowned strategic advisor and spearheads industry-wide initiatives to accelerate the adoption of new technologies. She has extensive experience in the hospitality, multifamily, and entertainment industries. Prior to joining Eleven, Hannah founded a private equity fund, Ven Capital Partners, backed by a group of institutional investors and experienced entrepreneurs, with the investment thesis of acquiring SaaS businesses in the hospitality vertical. Hannah spent eight years Vice President of Development at Seaview Investors, where she oversaw the private equity firm's hotel and multi-family development efforts including underwriting, acquisition due-diligence, budgeting, construction, branding, sourcing new investment opportunities, and dispositions. Hannah previously held positions at PwC in the real estate consulting practice and led large scale hospitality and strategy engagements. Hannah received her MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, and bachelor's degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration.

I’m a passionate problem-solver and love the satisfaction of helping others overcome facility challenges. Optimizing building efficiencies, improving staff workflow, and enhancing the resident experience is always the goal. My professional focus is on the multifamily industry and proptech however; I have a deep personal interest in the latest consumer and commercial tech. I also like to understand legacy devices and outdated systems that are still used today so that I can better understand how multifamily customers actually operate.

One of my favorite examples is the mechanical key, an invention that has remained largely unchanged for thousands of years. SALTO helps solve the problem of managing mechanical keys through incredible technology, reliable hardware, and software platforms that deliver leading access control solutions.

Charles Hadsell Charles Hadsell, CEO, PROMPT (formerly ePropertyCare)

Charles is an accomplished technology executive with a proven 20+ year track record at leading organizations. Charles spent the first 15 years of his career in a variety of sales, marketing and senior leadership positions at semiconductor firms Analog Devices and Texas Instruments. During that time Charles started a real estate business and built a rental portfolio that spans multiple states. To address a gap he saw in the market for landlords, he left semiconductor and founded ePropertyCare in 2018 to help service his own rental portfolio, but also help other owners remotely manage and control their portfolios. Today ePropertyCare has clients in over 27 states and offers an end-to-end smart building solution that allows owners to charge higher rents for smart apartment “as-an-amenity”, while simultaneously reducing utility expenses, repairs & maintenance expenses, and protecting assets from damage.

Charles is married to his wife Tara and has 4 children (Hannah - 16 months, Mason - 3, Connor - 6 and Taylor - 8). Charles has a BS in Electrical Engineering and minor in Finance from Princeton University, received an executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and completed executive education at MIT Sloan School of Business. 


Michael Don Ham Michael Don Ham, Co-Founder & President, RePure

Michael Don Ham is the Co-Founder and President of RePure, a leading supplier of best-in-class wellness technology solutions for residential applications available through professional installers. Ham has a degree majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition and has spent the past two decades in the field of health and wellness, serving in leadership roles within the non-profit, organic farming, custom integration and consumer packaged goods sectors. Kristine Hedlund Kristine Hedlund, Director – New Development & Major Accounts, Cox Communities

As part of the Cox Communities New Build leadership team, Kristine is responsible for the West Region New Build Multifamily team, Multifamily National New Build Account Managers, and all Cox Communities expansion initiatives outside of the Cox footprint. She has held various leadership positions with Cox for 14 years with both Cox Communications and Cox Business.

Prior to Cox, Kristine held leadership roles with two other telecom companies, published a local Arizona Women’s magazine, led national sales initiatives for a start-up digital signage organization, and worked for the Arizona Diamondbacks as the Director of Community Affairs.

Kristine currently serves on boards for Make A Wish Arizona and the Arizona Multihousing Association and is currently working on her BAS in Strategic Leadership and Management at Northern Arizona University.

Brad Huber is Chief Engineer and Vice President at Brivo Systems. Brivo is a provider of commercial access control for multifamily, commercial, and retail locations.

Brad is an entrepreneur and founded Parakeet Technologies smart home technology which was acquired by Brivo in 2020. Brad previously worked in the drone industry with five years at Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies and drone related research at university prior to that.


Michael Hughes Michael Hughes, Chief Revenue Officer, ChargePoint

Michael Hughes Chief Revenue Officer Michael Hughes is an accomplished sales leader with 25 years of experience in strategic planning, sales, services, marketing, business and organizational development, product leadership, operations and market-making in early-stage and established technology companies. At ChargePoint, Hughes leads global sales, mobility ecosystem relationships and business development functions. Prior to joining ChargePoint, he spent nine years at Barracuda Networks, serving as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services and scaling the company to $500 million in revenue and an initial public offering. He was previously Vice President of Sales for Asempra Technologies and a sales and business development leader at McDATA Corporation, Invio Software and Marimba. Jim Jacobellis Jim Jacobellis, SVP, Alef Edge

Two Decades of International and domestic experience in Sales/Business Development, Marketing and Strategic Alliances for Private Cellular Networks. Developed and implemented dozens of CBRS band Private Cellular networks, including some of the initial CBRS commercial deployments in the United States.

Jim joined Alef in April of 2022 as SVP of Sales and Technology Partners and is responsible for growing market share for Alef’s enterprise friendly Private LTE and 5G software service.

In 2020, Jim earned the Key Contributor award for outstanding contribution to the mission of the OnGo Alliance. 


Ryan Kimura Ryan Kimura, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Premier

Ryan Kimura serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Premier. Kimura is responsible for growing revenue and partnerships as well as overseeing other business development activities across the Dallas-based company's bundle of services. Prior to joining Premier, Kimura was an industry principal for RealPage Student Housing and Axiometrics Student Housing. He has over 20 years of real estate experience and almost 10 years of student housing experience.

Jenny Lytle Jenny Lytle, Vice President of Emerging Business, Chamberlain Group

Jenny Lytle is the Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Emerging Business at Chamberlain Group. With more than 15 years of experience in growth strategy, product management and innovation, Jenny leads the Liftmaster multi-family access control hardware and software portfolio and the Facility Enterprise software business. Prior to joining Chamberlain Group, Jenny led the Global Product & Pricing at Performance Health, a Madison Dearborn Partners Portfolio Comapny. Previously, she spent 7 years at The Boston Consulting Group. She began her career as a private equity investor and as an investment banking analyst for JPMorgan. Jenny holds an MBA with honors from The University of Chicago-Booth School of Business and holds a B.S. in Finance from The University of Illinois. 


Jen Macias DeMeyer Jen Macias DeMeyer, Vice President of Growth, Homebase.ai

Jen leads marketing and business development for Homebase, a complete smart building technology solution based in Kansas City, MO. Previously, Jen led the marketing and leasing for The Cordish Companies' multifamily division and has worked with both commercial real estate developers and Fortune 500 companies in leasing, marketing, sales and human resources roles. Active in the community and industry, Jen is currently serving a four-year term as appointed by Mayor Quinton Lucas for the city's Municipal Arts Commission, which oversees building encroachments and manages the city’s 1% for arts program. She also sits on the proptech advisory board for the Security Industry Association and leads the Latina affinity group for She Should Run. Jen currently resides in Kansas City with her partner and 5 children.

Mr. Maulucci is passionate about contribution and advancing innovation across North America through partnerships and collaboration. Jeff Morrison Vice President, Real Estate Aquana, LLC. Jeff Morrison is the Vice President of Real Estate services for Aquana, a smart water IoT platform. In his role, he leverages his background in business development and proptech consultation to inform real estate owners and operators about the value of comprehensive wireless water monitoring and control solutions. Providing vision, focus and direction to real estate owners and operators, Jeff is a Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate industry leader and public speaker with 24 years of complex technical and solution sales experience growing SaaS platforms from start-up to IPO or acquisition. Prior to joining Aquana, he worked as a Senior Director at Brivo, a global leader in mobile, cloud-based access control for commercial real estate, multifamily residential, and large distributed enterprises. Before that, he was Vice President at STRATIS IoT, a leading IoT Software as a Service (SaaS) platform built for the complexities of Multifamily, Student Housing and Senior Living operations. Mr. Morrison earned his bachelor of science degree in business management from Arizona State University. He serves on the advisory board of Shark Stewards (Earth Island Institute), a global non-profit focused on restoring ocean ecosystems and protecting sharks from the global shark fin trade. Additionally, he volunteers actively with various animal-oriented charities including MCP Rescue, Second Chance Rescue, Peace for Pits and Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue. 


Mary Nitschke Mary Nitschke, VP of Sustainability, RealPage

As the Vice President of Sustainability at Real Page, Mary's goal is to revolutionize sustainability for the multifamily industry. She helps people leverage efficiency programs and vet technology to improve, enhance, and change the world. She is the creator of the RealPage Smart Waste, Smart Energy and Smart Water Solutions which use IoT to reduce costs, greenhouse gases and create amenities that residents seek. She helps owners and operators achieve their ESG targets in new ways. Mary's prior role was the director of ancillary services at Prometheus Real Estate Group, Inc. where she improved NOI for 18+ years. She managed utility and waste expense plus ancillary income for over 12,000 units; working directly with vendors, clients, and properties to reduce waste consumption, increase revenue and ensure compliance with State, County and City requirements. She is the founding member (2008) and the first President of UMAdvisory a customer peer group specific to Sustainability in Multifamily. She holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, a certificate in Energy Resource Management the University of California at Davis and is a True Waste Advisor (USGBC).

Chris Rothey leads the Multifamily Product Solutions team at Comcast. His team focuses on creating new and purpose-built products for the multifamily space, from hardware to streamlined onboarding processes.
