Market research firm Parks Associates estimates that 50 percent of Norh American broadband house-holds will have a smart home device by 2020. Xfinity Home offers its customers a new generation of home security and connected devices, letting customers manage and control connected devices on its one easy to use smart home platform.

Nortek Security Ships 1 Millionth Z-Wave Home Automation Device

GoControl’s 1 million devices together with 2GIG’s 3 million security and automation controls make Nortek Security & Control does seem to give it a good amount of power in the market.

According to Parks Associates, over 55 percent of installed smart door locks and garage door controls, smart smoke detectors and water leak sensors, and networked security cameras are integrated into a security system.

Audio Analytic Raises £4.3 Million In Series A Funding Round Led By CIC
