Parks Associates Predicts Expanded Adoption for Personal Health Records Due to $19 Billion Government Incentive

This new industry report from international research firm Parks Associates notes that the $19 billion financial incentive from the U.S. federal government designed to promote EMR adoption includes a “meaningful use” requirement. Parks Associates Forecasts Advanced TV, Mobile Advertising, and Social Networking to Lead Long-Term Recovery in U.S. Ad Spending

This new report from international research firm Parks Associates features a survey of U.S. advertising and media executives and found this group optimistic about 2010 ad spending as well as the long-term impact of advanced advertising formats. A majority would pay a premium for addressable TV ads, with almost 40% willing to pay upwards of 20% more over traditional TV ads.

Parks Associates Finds Less Than Six Million U.S. Households Would Consider Canceling Pay-TV Service in Favor of Online Video

Despite the growing amount of video available online, less than 8% of U.S. broadband households are considering canceling their pay-TV services in favor of online video, according to Parks Associates’ All Eyes on Video.
