115 Million North Americans to Have Access to Multiscreen Service from Pay-TV Providers by 2016

According to Parks Associates, 115 million North American pay-TV subscribers will have access to multiscreen services from their pay-TV provider by 2016.

In addition to that forecast, the research firm predicts that 90 million subscribers in Western Europe will be able to receive these services as well by 2016. Meanwhile 50 million subscribers in both Eastern Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions will be part of the action too.

"TV Everywhere has quickly become a standard offering for pay-TV providers, and now the key challenge facing them is how to monetize these services," notes Brett Sappington, Director, Research, Parks Associates.
