AT&T, VZW Want to Connect Your Jalopy

We're going to continue to see more of these kinds of ad hoc solutions going forward, especially given the size of the addressable market. According to a recent Parks Associates white paper, only 25 percent of U.S. light vehicles in operation will have a connectivity solution by the end of 2015.

Auto manufacturers are nearing the point where these remedial types of connectivity are pretty much standard on all new car models. That said, older folks and those youngsters (or their worried parents) with a 1996 Impala hand-me-down just might bite on these kinds of offers.
