Cozify urges the expansion of the smart home value network beyond the traditional retail and professional installer channels towards a setup where players of various industry verticals extract value to their core business by utilizing consumer-IoT solutions. “In practice that means companies such as insurers experiencing decreased number and value of home insurance related claims when their customers get an early warning and get immediate assistance from their insurance provider” explains Antti Vihavainen from Cozify. “And unless the European service providers start acting quickly, the internet giants from North America will capture much of the smart home potential” he continues.
