New Study Looks at Use of Connected Devices in the US

The number of connected devices in U.S. homes also depends on the type of Internet connection people have. Research firm Parks Associates pointed out 30 percent of U.S. broadband households have at least one connected health device. This includes everything from exercise bikes to scales, which are integrated with mobile applications to motivate consumers. The company also pointed out more than 32 million U.S. consumers will actively track their personal health and fitness online or via mobile by 2016.
