SmartGridLicense.com serves as hub for utilities

More than 8 million Smart Meters are currently deployed throughout the United States, and the market for residential energy management has taken the first significant steps in deploying Smart Grid technologies and advanced meter infrastructure on a broad scale, according to Parks Associates’ recent report, “Residential Energy Management: Company, Alliance & Technology Profiles.” In addition, the federal stimulus bill allocates $11 billion for Smart Grid initiatives through 2010, with the Obama administration’s support.
