TargetSpot 2012 survey: We sure do love online radio/audio
A new study commissioned by TargetSpot finds that Internet radio listening has reached a robust 42% among U.S. adults with broadband in their homes, an increase of 8% over last year. The digital audio advertising network’s annual Digital Audio Benchmark and Trend Study, conducted by Parks Associates, also finds that 80% of the digital audience listens online 1-3 hours a day, while 40% listen 1-2 hours per session. Additionally, 75% of listeners change stations multiple times on the same Internet radio service at least once a day, while nearly two-thirds switch to different Internet websites at least once a day.
