Two-fifths of German, Spanish broadband homes own a smart TV
Europe is increasingly a connected TV territory says a Parks Associates study showing more than 40% of broadband households in Germany and Spain own a smart TV, while UK adoption of smart TVs is at 33%.
Furthermore, according to the Emerging Power of IoT in Europe report, 54% of broadband households in Germany and more than two-thirds of broadband households in Spain and the UK have a CE device connected to the Internet. These connected devices include smart TVs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, DVRs/PVRs and streaming media devices.
