Pay-TV operators are seeing a "slow erosion of the core business," analyst Brett Sappington at Parks Associates said.

It's Official! More People Listen To Music On Smartphones Than Make Calls

Parks Associates has released new data that reaffirms the mobility of music fans in today's world. Within this group, Parks also found, on average, users are listening to streaming music approximately 45 minutes per day.

Broadband penetration will exceed 650 million households across the globe, with nearly 430 million to have a data network this year, a report has said.
