Why People Cancel Streaming Subscriptions

Some new research from Parks Associates looks at the biggest reasons why people get rid of streaming subscriptions.

Tablets poisonous for netbooks market

Various market research firms have seen the digital writing on the wall. During the final quarter last year, and for the first time in consumer electronics history, more households in the United States said they planned to purchase a tablet than a regular laptop, slim and sleek ultrabook or pint-sized netbook computer, according to a survey conducted by Parks Associates.

High-tech security looks to the future

Today, some companies that sell home security offerings are taking what they already have and overlaying connectivity features so that homeowners can lock the door or activate motion detection sensors, for example, from afar.

Apple and Samsung big winners in this year's gadget race
