TV Viewing Habits and Young Viewers

by Julia Homier | Jul. 18, 2013
Parks Associates has released new market focus research entitled, "TV Viewing Habits and the Challenge of Young Nonsubscribers."

The research examines the viewing habits of Millennials and their attitudes toward pay-TV services.  It provides a comprehensive overview of consumer trends for TV and OTT services, complete analysis of the factors driving cord cutting, and recommendations for pay-TV providers.

Parks Associates finds that 30 percent of consumers aged 18-24 do not have or are likely to cancel pay-TV service.

Some of the key topics of the market focus research include pay-TV trending data by age, cord cutting activity and correlation to demographic segments, and identification and analysis of the "re-connectors" including the providers successful at recapturing these subscribers.
