MEDIA ALERT: Parks Associates analyzes impact of local and national economies on game development at GDC

Special Session Sponsored by Canadian Consulate General Dallas on Thursday, October 7

Parks Associates’ analyst Pietro Macchiarella will moderate a special session, “How economic context affects game development from start-up to grown-up companies,” hosted on Thursday, October 7, at the Game Developers Conference Online (GDC).

The one-hour session is sponsored by Canada at GDC, The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and represented by the Canadian Consulate General Dallas. Mr. Macchiarella will present findings from Parks Associates’ consumer research and offer analysis on business strategies for the interactive entertainment industry.

Other topics of discussion include the following:

  • Laws and taxation and their effects on the interactive entertainment industry
