Parks Associates is hosting the upcoming webcast, "Cloud Storage Challenges" on July 25 at 1 PM Central Time.

In this webcast, Parks Associates' John Barrett will analyze new consumer data on storage and backup habits and strategies for new cloud-service solutions.  The webcast will also address the challenges of offering cloud-based storage.

Parks Associates' research shows that currently most households do not have a comprehensive backup solution, yet most consumers are not concerned about losing content.  In fact, roughly 40-60% of broadband households believe they would lose none of their photos, music, or video if their hard drive failed. 

The use of streaming media and reliance on multiple, decentralized locations create challenges for cloud storage and digital locker solutions which is a focal point of the webcast.
