Microsoft agrees to buy Skype for a staggering $8.5 billion

One person questioning the deal is Harry Wang, director of mobile research at Parks Associates.

According to the Huffington Post, Wang commented: "When I look at the price tag, I go 'What?' $8.5 billion for revenue less than $1 billion a year? The long term, incremental value makes sense but it's not exactly a match with the price tag."

65% of broadband households have a game console, PS3 and Xbox 360 lead

The number of households in the United States who have broadband internet access and an internet capable game console has grown quickly over the last few years thanks to the PS3 and Xbox 360's multimedia capabilities according to a new report from research firm Parks Associates.

Job hunting crystal ball: video, mobile app, interactive TV

My friend Adam asked me which type of job he should target next. He is tired of 100% commission-based sales jobs, working Saturdays and Sundays, and dreams of an exciting and stable job in the future. Looking at my crystal ball, I told him: "Go Video."
