Nearly half of U.S. broadband homes have a tablet, says Parks Associates
48% of U.S. broadband households own at least one tablet now, according to Parks Associates. Tablet ownership increased by nearly 33% in one year, with 22% of households reporting a tablet purchase. Competition among Apple, Amazon, Samsung, and Microsoft, which has lowered price points on tablets, has helped expand adoption.

In-app advertising revenues to reach $2 billion in U.S. in 2013, says Parks

A panel moderated by Parks Associates Director of Research Brett Sappington was an occasion for attendees at CES 2012 to see a measuring stick applied to this category.
