29% of U.S. Broadband Households Own a Connected Health Device

More than one quarter of U.S. broadband households have an Internet-enabled health device, according to a Parks Associates report, Health Data Management reports (Slabodkin, Health Data Management, 6/19).

The report, titled "Digitally Fit: Products and Services for Connected Consumers," analyzed multiple nationwide surveys of U.S. broadband households to examine the adoption and use of connected heath care and fitness devices (Parks Associates release, 6/18).

Report Findings

  • Among U.S. households with broadband, the report found that:
  • 29% own a connected health device; and
  • 12% own multiple connected health devices.
