Chromecast adds Hulu Plus; 34% of device owners stream free Hulu to TV

Consumer research firm Parks Associates today said more than one-third of Google Chromecast owners (34%) stream video content from Hulu to their TV set every day.

That’s a no-no because Hulu content isn’t licensed to be shown on TV.

“Chromecast is giving people in Hollywood headaches right now,” said John Barrett, director, consumer analytics at Parks. “All the wrangling over licensing restrictions doesn’t mean much if consumers can simply circumvent them.”

From the article, "Chromecast adds Hulu Plus; 34% of device owners stream free Hulu to TV" by Jim O'Neill.
