More than 40% of U.S. caregivers with broadband connections use a digital health device, according to a report by Parks Associates, MobiHealthNews reports.
For the report, researchers examined the use of digital devices among caregivers with broadband Internet connections. To do so, researchers analyzed several surveys, including one of about 10,000 U.S. households with broadband access.
The report found that 22% of broadband households include an individual who currently cares for a family member or expects to do so in the near future.
Meanwhile, 41% of current caregivers use a digital health device. In addition, 8% use an online tool to coordinate their caregiving efforts.
