Parks Moves Forum to December
Parks Associates is moving its next Forum — Forum 2001: Leveraging Digital Opportunities — to December 12-14, 2001, in light of the tragic events in New York and Washington on September 11. Forum 2001 will remain at The Regent in Las Vegas, Nevada, and its format and sessions will slightly vary from their original models.
Parks has assessed that, as a result of the tragedies, corporate travel will be widely curtailed for U.S. employees through the end of October 2001. Parks has contacted most Forum 2001 speakers, and at this time, has not reported any cancellations.
Parks Associates will be distributing contemporary consumer research at this event to attendees completely free-of-charge. This includes research completed both pre- and post-September 11, 2001, on technology-based products, systems, corollary services, and tomorrow's consumer.
Beyond personal donations, Parks Associates will donate 10 percent of its Forum 2001 profits to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
