Wireless Home Healthcare to be $4 Billion Industry by 2013

SmartBriefA new report predicts the U.S. market for wireless home-based health care applications will grow from $304 million this year to $4.4 billion in 2013, driven by the health IT provisions in the economic stimulus law. An official at Parks Associates, which produced the report, said device and service connectivity will be a model for future applications and mobile networks will link the devices to medical providers.
