Don’t Mention the Network

Dallas-based research firm Parks Associates reckons wireless media adapter companies are missing their market by focussing on home networks.
Park’s says that technology companies developing digital media adapters (DMAs) have made a gross miscalculation in emphasizing network ownership for their products, according to a new study.

D-Link Tackles Home Installation

It probably comes as no surprise, but just for the record, Parks Associates has done research showing consumer home networking satisfaction is inversely proportional to the number of “help desk” calls required to get it working. Brand loyalty is also negatively affected.

Media Servers - Panacea or Placebo

Half a billion Mice lead to Harmony

The latest Harmony universal remote released featured a touchscreen with six programmable soft keys plus a traditional button layout that can be set-up by plugging the device into a PC via a USB port and a Web connection.
