Parks Associates research shows faster broadband speeds drive more switching than do lower fees

More than one-third of consumers who switched service providers in the past 12 months did so in order to obtain a faster service at a comparable price

Parks Associates announced new research today showing 9% of U.S. broadband households switched broadband providers in the past 12 months, with 35% of them doing so to get a faster broadband speed. Only 18% of switchers changed because a different provider offered a lower price at a comparable speed.

New industry report examines current and future market for OTT and TV Everywhere video services

New industry research from Parks Associates finds global OTT video service subscription revenues will increase from nearly $9 billion in 2014 to over $19 billion in 2019.
